This hangar works great. Despite what other reviewers have commented.. It is not complicated to put together (I didn’t even look at the destructions, just a picture and then fiddled around for maybe a minute), it is plenty sturdy, it is easy to swivel with one person.. if you read the specs and your bike is under the weight limit and you mount to a stud or method listed in the specs using the supplied hardware (the anchors are not for drywall!), bike is definitely not gonna fall (unless maybe there is a defect with a bad weld between the mount plate and the post).
I have two of these mounted on adjacent studs so I can ‘fold’ the two bikes closer to the wall, waiting for stock so I can buy and hang a third bike.
My bikes are more road/hybrid style, so tires are not all that large/fat. I could maybe see more difficultly hanging a bike with deeper rims and/or fat tires. The hook seems plenty wide but may not stick out far enough for deep tires/rims
